The Sphinxian swamp siren was an amphibious predator native to the planet Sphinx in the Manticore System. The native treecats called it whistling sucker. It resembled a hexapedal turtle without a shell, with a large round mouth full of sharp teeth. It was highly sensitive to sound. (SK2)
