The Commandos partook in any dangerous combat missions and often went to enemy-occupied worlds for recon missions. Unlike most other clones, commandos had more free will and, because of this, were able to complete missions without permission or morale interfering. Clone commandos worked in squads, which consisted of of four clones who were trained in specific tasks.
