Dawn Hope (born 1960 in Middlesex) appeared on Coronation Street sporadically between May 2012 and March 2013 as Alison Soames, mother of Tyrone Dobbs's abusive partner Kirsty. With an acting career spanning over four decades, her other screen credits include roles in S.W.A.L.K, The Fosters, Somebody's Daughter, Pickersgill People, Play for Today, Dempsey and Makepeace, Casualty, Waiting for God and Random.
