CC-4940, nicknamed "Rust", was a clone senior commander who served the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Working closely with Galen Maral and leading the 189th Legion, Rust was a loyal soldier, rarely disagreeing with orders. Rust would eventually gain a promotion to ARC Trooper. As the Imperial Army formed and began integrating other species, Rust became a combat trainee to new recruits.
