Kutkin was a Manticoran citizen and a non-commissioned officer of the Royal Manticoran Marine Corps. He was about two meters tall. In 1878 PD, he held the rank of Sergeant Major, and served aboard the heavy cruiser HMS War Maiden. (HHA3.1: MMH)
