Makoto like many other UTAU is not from Japan. She is from Saudi Arabia. Her creation was accidental, the bank was intended to be Kuroi Megane's ACT II. Due to laziness her designs were VERY similar to that of Vocaloid's mascot Hatsune Miku. Makoto knows this and tries her best to demur the skeptics who stereotype her as a horribly made, Miku clothed inspired UTAU made by a young foreign girl. In reality she is an average UTAU made by a not as young foreign girl.
