In the 2010–11 year, Nizar won YCS Dallas, with a "Six Samurai" Deck,, positioned in the top 8 at YCS Charlotte, in the top 16 at YCS Providence and second the Swiss rounds of the North American World Championship Qualifier. In the 2011–12 year, Nizar positioned in the top 32 at YCS Atlanta, and won YCS Dallas, becoming the first person to win a YCS after going undefeated in the Swiss rounds.
