Nicolau Xesús (Tionese: Ниќолау Ѓесас), also referred to as "Xim II" (Ѓим II), was a Human male revolutionary, politician, and military leader hailing from the planet of Argai. A radical Argaian ultranationalist, Xesús believed that Argaians were not just Humans, but an evolved subspecies. He looked up to the infamous warlord Xim the Conqueror, who was a native of Argai. Xesús also liked the Kingdoms of Argai and Cron, ancient civilizations based on his homeworld. Because of this, he founded the Argaian Revolutionary Movement in 26 BBY, which, with Separatist backing, overthrew the weak pro-Republic government. Xesús established the Argai National Republic, a unitary republic, and pledged support to the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
