Lael Rothal was still a Jedi Padawan when the Clone Wars hit. He was already learning much of the Force, and his preferred lightsaber style, Makashi at this time. His master had given his progress high praise, but naturally kept an eye on him. Lael was ready to become a Jedi Knight at the Clone War's end, and was knighted shortly before Order 66. While his master did not survive the resulting Jedi Purge, he did. He participated in the Hunt for Sion, but was killed by the Devourer of Souls.
