Pollination was a process involving pollen, by which some plants reproduced. (VOY: "Tuvix") Often, the process involved another lifeform, such as Spawn beetles, which helped cross-pollinate Oblissian cabbage. In 2371, Kes explained this to Neelix, who had found a beetle in the cabbage she brought him. (VOY: "Elogium")
