The Third Imperial Civil War was a major internecine conflict in the galaxy that took place between 223 and 224 ABY. Sparked by the assassination of Empress Vittoria Fel, the war was waged between two rivaling factions of the Empire: the loyalists of Vittoria's husband, Regent Aldrin Tantalus, and the rebels who followed Grandmaster Damon Daystar - the Empress's protector and rumored paramour.
