Kanda Farral was a female spacer. Although inexperienced in zero-g operations, she signed onto The Lucky Find, a salvage ship commanded by Captain Sreethyn by lying about her experience. In her first operation, she assisted in salvaging jettisoned equipment from the Imperial Navy near Jerijador. She was responsible for programming the ship's retrieval droids.
