Shigeo Hanabishi is the foster father of Recca Hanabishi, who found him, when he was an infant sent through time by Kagerou (though he was unaware of this until later). He searched for his family, but could not find them and so chose to adopt and raise Recca as his own. He and Recca always get into fights with one another. Despite this, however, they have a very close relationship as father and son.
