An eelsnake was a species of venomous reptile native to the planet Romulus. It had green skin and long sharp teeth. In the early 24th century, Moliok, then a child, played with an eelsnake she found on shore until it bit and killed her half-brother. In 2364, Moliok recalled this memory while she was being assimilated by the Borg. (TNG comic: "Operation Assimilation")
