The paperback album had thirty-two pages and featured 180 numbered placeholders for the self-adhesive stickers of stills taken from the movie and photos taken on location during filming. The stickers were sold in newsdealers' stores and other retail outlets in sealed packs of ten, so collectors wouldn't know which ones they were buying. With the exception of the center spread, which featured behind-the-scenes information about the DeLorean time machine, each page of the album told part of the Back to the Future story, illustrated with the photos shown on the stickers.
