Rarewomen (renamed Rarelywritten for the 2015 round) is a gift exchange focused on fan fiction about female characters who have little fanfic about them. The exchange was first held in 2012 on LiveJournal, with participants posting links to their stories. In subsequent years, stories for the exchange have been uploaded to the Rarewomen/Rarelywritten collection on AO3. Organization of the exchange shifted to Dreamwidth in 2015.
