The Count arrives, having felt her sadness with his sixth (seventh and eight) sense. She states she's not proud to be the number one, since it has such little value. The Count tries to change her mind with the song, explaining how important the number 1 can be. Afterward, she still feels sad, so the Count sings the song one more time.
