KDT was the designation of a convoy of Sentinel-class landing craft carrying prisoners and supplies. It was overseen by Imperial II-class Star Destroyer Goliath. Several of them had Bothan slaves who were sympathetic to the Rebel cause. After a mysterious transmission by an unnamed informer, four Y-wings—one of them piloted by Ace Azzameen—and three T-65 X-wing starfighters attacked the convoy and disabled the convoy craft with the slaves. Then Gamma-class ATR-6 assault transports from Tango squadron liberated the slaves while the Rebel fighters provided cover for them.
