Dotem Goehin is the food production minister of the Great Garmillas Empire under Abelt Dessler. While attending a palace celebration of the anniversary of the empire's founding, Goehin drinks excessively, and lapses into uncontrollable rude laughter at Dessler's call to toast an enemy vessel as friends. Disgusted by his behavior, Dessler touches a control in the armrest of his throne that instantly opens a hole underneath him, and Goehin falls out of view to his death. The remaining party guests raise their cups and hail Dessler's actions ("Wish Upon a Star").
