Chomong were a sea creature native to Velusia, and were referred to by Leia Organa as diaphanous blobs of glowing flesh. Their fossilized corpses made up an aggregate of crystalline matter off the coast of Kolo-ha, an island on Velusia. Chomongs were eaten raw by the native Velusians.
