In Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, the timers in Hang Eight and Plant Food can be reset. While the clock is running, if Crash enters the bonus round and immediately jumps off the side of a platform, the timer will have been reset upon returning to the level making Hang Eight's second clear gem and Plant Food's yellow gem easier to obtain.
