The city-states of Myriad, Ishar and Duleer make up the Reaches of Erebria; the frontier against the south-eastern orc lands. In the beginning there was only one city - Myriad. Originally founded by human and elven refugees fleeing from the land of the orcs to the southeast after they spilled out of the Wastelands to the north, it quickly became a powerful trade port due its bountiful grain harvests - a bread basket for the realms that border the Shimmering Sea. Eventually they founded colonies - Ishar and Duleer to support their interests, though they remained independent.
