A few Steam Line episodes are in the public domain, and still seen on Internet Archive. In 2003, Alpha Video released Volumes 1 and 2 of the show on DVD. Each episode contains 20 episoes. In 2006, Shout! Factory and RKO Home Entertainment released the first ten seasons on DVD. In 2007, Shout! and RKO released seasons eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteenth and fifteenth seasons on DVD. In 2008, Shout! and RKO released the final seasons (16-20) on DVD and the Complete Series were available on DVD. In 2009, Allergo Entertainment released the Steam Line DVDs called "The Best of Steam Line".
