Those who prefer the sub, like to keep up to date with the anime. The dub is over one hundred episodes behind the sub. Additionally, many (such as myself), prefer the Japanese seiyu's to the English voice actors. Those who prefer the dub like to have the episodes in english and do not mind being behind.
