The M-83 Farcry is an Alliance-designed assault rifle which replaced the as the standard issue firearm for the Systems Alliance Terra Corps in 2187. The Farcry is relatively lighter than the Avenger and somewhat shorter than the weapon, taking away from it's overall range. The Farcry does pack more of a punch than the Avenger and is more efficient due to it's internal cooling system, making it more unlikely to overheat.
