Shirosame Asakura (白鮫朝蔵, asakura shirosame; lit. "white shark of the morning treasury") is a Shinigami and member of the Third Division. He is known as an outcast of the Asakura Family for not sharing their dark intentions and for joining the Gotei 13. Before his banishment, he was the crown prince of the Clan and next in line to lead it. He would later be known as Shiro of the South due to his actions to repair Kawahiru after his unintended meltdown.
