Human Services was a department of the Star Kingdom of Manticore's government. One of its divisions specialized in integrating refugees from other worlds into the Manticoran population; it was organized quietly by King Roger III when the Star Kingdom started to get more and more refugees from planets the expanding People's Republic of Haven had conquered. HS was responsible for relocating the Sisterhood of Barbara after they had fled from Masada in 1892 PD. (HHA5.1: R)
