Take Flight! Stargazer! is an anime that was written, directed, and created by Akira Jotaro who also created the anime Armored Arena, Rusty Sky, and Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Fate. The story is set in a frontier named "Star Reacher" in year 2477 where Earth has become a wasteland so barren that any life on it would die within hours without the proper equipment. The story is about a smart high school student who became a pilot of a new machine called Stargazer when the frontier was attacked by an alien race named Varia.
