Tariq Amir was a Muslim from the city Lahore, Pakistan. Amir's family arranged a marriage for him with Meena Hasni. She refused to marry him, because she loved another man, Rudy Ventano. Tariq went to Meena's father, Kazi, to let him know that his daughter was a whore. Tariq tried to leave the United States after Meena's death, but he was picked up by the INS.
