Grapple Industries was a weapon and armor manufacturer during the Old and New Republics. During the time of the New Republic, many Grapple weapons were bought out by the Black Sun Syndicate for use by their militia. Grapple has been known to build and design weapons, vehicles, and other devices such as fusioncutters and other hardware. Grapple has also been a large producer of grenades and explosives, selling out thier popular V-9 thermal detonator to the many armies of disputing factions, Alliances, and Empires. Around 36 ABY Grapple Industries was shut down by the New Republic after they supplied mass amounts of weapons to the Black Sun Crime Syndicate, who recently waged and lost a war against the New Republic. The current owner of Grapple Industries at the time though, Wage Tox, secret
