Paedos was a name given to a constellation by Iko, a Nygean. In 2377, at the USS Voyager's astrometrics lab, Seven of Nine showed Iko some of the stars visible in the night sky of his homeworld. As a child, he would lie under the stars until he could see faces and animals made of stars. He named these shapes Paedos the warrior and Gezid the beast. Iko chose these names because the distance between the two constellations always remained the same, Paedos could never catch Gezid. (VOY: "Repentance")
