Chesterfield is a town in the East Midlands in the county of Derbyshire, England. It is an Ancient Market town, which is most well known for its church which has a Twisted spire, known as the Crooked Spire. the town was built on the coal industry and Engineering following the arrival of the North Midland Railways line from Derby to Leeds at the beginning of the 1840s following construction of the clay cross tunnel to the south. Several iron works being built in the area.
