The Delegation of 2,000 was a group of concerned senators in the Galactic Senate. These 2,000 individuals were bothered by the way that Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine had waged the Clone Wars and created the Petition of 2,000 identifying the entire membership of the group, formally protesting Palpatine's actions and demanding he return to the Senate the emergency powers he had claimed following the conclusion of the war.
