In 1904 PD, Daumier held the rank of Captain and served as commanding officer of the battlecruiser HMS Invincible. She was proud of her ship, especially since it was at the time, the holder of the Queen's Cup. In the following year, on Hancock Station, she led the Invincible in an exercise with the rest of the squadron. She would attend an all-squadron meeting on the HMS Nike after a poor squadron performance during the exercise. (HH3)
