Kang's battle cruiser was a Klingon D7-class battle cruiser that was in service with the Klingon Imperial Fleet in the mid-23rd century. This ship was commanded by Captain Kang. The ship had a crew complement of 438. In 2268, Kang's battle cruiser responded to a Klingon distress call transmitted from the planet Beta XII-A. En route the cruiser mysteriously sustained massive internal damage, caused by explosions, disabling the ship. The result was the death of four hundred of the ship's crew.
