Lambda Company was a SPARTAN-IV Project unit under the command of SPARTAN-144 Leonid and SPARTAN-338 Connor, as well as several surviving SPARTAN-II Class IIIs and SPARTAN-IIIs. The unit fought before and during the Necros war as a company of highly trained commandos specializing in combat reconnaissance, covert sabotage, sharpshooting, extraction and escort, infiltration, and most prominently, high value target elimination, colloquially referred to as assassination.
