Uitto was a wind spirit. He communed many times with Asahina Ejigen, carrying messages as ordered by the shugenja. During the Clan War Uitto was instrumental in delivering a request of support to the Mantis Clan, who arrived in time to defeat a Shadowlands force besieging Kyuden Doji.
