When ingested, the pills immediately hydrates the user with an equivalent of about a full days dosage of water, or about 64 fluid ounces. This allows the Hōzuki Clansmen, for which the pill was developed for, to stay hydrated on long missions without needing to carry multiple Water Bottles with them.
