Originally the Chamber of Night, the Terondai - or Teronderai - was the heart of Mother Dark's power and the central chamber of the Temple of Darkness in Kharkanas. The room had a domed roof. It was the chamber in which Gallan cut out and ate his own eyes, saying that he had seen too much. This room was named the Terondai, "the sacred eye in the darkness, the witness to all things."
