The Oni-Con is an anime convention created in 2004 in Houston, Texas. This is Houston's first major anime convention and, despite being a relatively new anime convention, their list of past guests is very notable including the likes of Scott McNeil, Johnny Yong Bosch, Greg Ayres, Taliesin Jaffe, and most notably Yoshitaka Amano. It occurs in the month of October except for 2008 when it was moved to December due to Hurricane Ike.
