Jim Stoakes was a Human male living on Earth with his family on the 2370s. He had a tradition of taking his wife Beth and their daughter to the Golden Gate Bridge on his wedding anniversary. In 2375, they were on their annual trip to the bridge when the Breen attacked San Francisco, destroying the centre of the bridge and killing Jim and his family.
