Floyd was a Starfleet security guard serving aboard the USS Enterprise-E. In 2379, when the Enterprise was dispatched to Tezwa as part of the aid and rebuilding efforts, Floyd served at the Starfleet security command center in the basement of the Ilanatava. When deposed Tezwan Prime Minister Kinchawn launched his coup d'etat, Floyd accompanied Security Chief Christine Vale as she evacuated the Tezwan Assembly; Floyd and Elaine Grigsby launched a mortar counterattack against Tezwan insurgents.
