Henry Norman Edwards MBE (12 July 1898 – 21 April 1970), was an army officer, barrister and local politician. Born in Holborn, he was the son of William Henry Edwards, an agent to the Farmers Association and his wife Margaret Ann née Jones. He held a commission in the Queen's Own Royal West Kent Regiment, eventually reaching the rank of lieutenant colonel. He was called to the bar at the Middle Temple in 1938 and had a practice at Essex Court in the City of London. He was made a Deputy Lieutenant for the County of London in 1954.
