The Battle of Kalee was a battle in the Bothan War, on the Muun front. Core Systems Alliance forces, under the command of Admiral Liak Piett V, and Kaleesh rebels fought a Muun defense force that had remained loyal to the Muun Federation, as opposed to joining Darth Torrent's rebels. Prior to the battle, Piett had secured a deal with the Kaleesh forces, who had been opposed to the way the Muun leaders had managed the war. Casaulties on both sides were high but the attacking Core forces emerged victorious. They were now on the door step of Muunilist, the capital world of their enemies, where they could score a decisive victory.
