The following is a complete list of villagers who appear at some point throughout the Animal Crossing series. As of 2018 there are a grand total of 458 villagers spanning seven games and five consoles. Animal Forest features 216 villagers in total. The GameCube ports Animal Forest + and Animal Crossing introduce 2 new villagers, and 18 islanders. Both games share the same villagers and islanders, with no differences from one another. Animal Forest e+ introduces 66 additional villagers and 18 additional islanders, several of which have not appeared in later releases.
