Grodo was the Hutt physician of Aruk Besadii Aora and he had advised the elderly crimelord to keep better care of himself by exercising and eating nutritiously. Unfortunately, Aruk had been poisoned by Teroenza acting under orders from Jabba and Jiliac. When Aruk died, Grodo could find nothing incriminating in the old Hutt's corpse that suggested foul play.
