The Tomb of Torment is the name of Lignin's lair, from the Doom Zone Mighty Max Crushes the Hand. He attempted to lure the undead bodies who possessed the Scarab Ring into the Tomb of Torment, where they would forever be tortured. Beings enter the Tomb of Torment through Lignin's mouth, and must be devoured in order to get there. Max was swallowed by Lignin, but left the Tomb of Torment and inevitably destroyed Lignin.
