The Free Timbersmiths were a group of loggers and timber cutters in the Midwood Decks. Unlike the Pro-Hivers working for Greeg Kleft, the Free Timbersmiths respected nature, and were always careful not to kill the Sumpwoods they chopped down. The Free Timbersmiths and Pro-Hivers resented each other, and a great deal of tension existed between the groups.
