Shin-Ay was a male T'surr member of Ken-Kiba's spice runner gang who resided on the planet of Telerath. When Dass Jennir informed Ken-Kiba of an attack on the gang's refinery located on Telerath's second moon, Shin-Ay was ordered to establish communication with Ken-Kiba's brother Ken-Giree. However, he received no response.
