Mr Winkleton was a guest at Bide A Wee, the holiday home belonging to The Snagsbys. At some point during his stay, Winkleton was killed by his hosts while sitting at the breakfast table so that he could never leave. Disturbingly, his corpse was left in the same chair and was never moved, Mrs Snagsby passing his inactivity off as being shy and not so good a mover anymore. Head soon deduced that their fellow guest was dead and convinced Chuck D. Head to move out of their accommodation.
